The dead lie beside you at the street,
needles scattered at the tips of their feet.
You pause a moment, to kick them aside.
Out of body, out of sight and surely- out of mind.
Their corpses lie still, yet they follow you round.
careful to stalk, but not make a sound.
You spiral round to meet their still eyes-
but find them vacant. You are paralyzed.
You stop a moment, to sort things out.
you try to shake it off, ignore the doubt.
But their presence is heavy, and the stench is strong.
you've waited in intervals, that wait was too long.
The aandoned remain trapped alone in the alleys
added to pollies and marked onto tallies
addicts they call them, detrimental to society
yet the same would be said under addict sobriety
so you stare at them through the corner of your eye
you can't hear them talk, but it's still them you dispise.
You hate them, you point, you laugh and you stare,
you cut them you stab them, you hardly just glare.
But those needles are plastic, your eyes are the drug.
addicted to pain, this lack of love.
What has society bred.
what has it done
you've already walked past him...and now it's begun.

Really odd poem...I don't know, just came out. I've been thinking a lot.
But it's pretty interesting. I guess.

Anyhew....I'm pretty excited because I've been researching a bit of bayonetta. Seems like it's really going to be a fun game. ^^
